Title: Kiss and Tell (And tell some more)
Written by: Beesandbrews
Rating: PG
Characters: Series 1 Team Torchwood, (past Jack/Ianto)
A/N: This takes place during the 'last snog' game in Countrycide. It was brought about by the episode re-watch at [livejournal.com profile] tw_classic, and the observation that Jack sidesteps the question rather than answering directly.
Disclaimer: This is a work of fanfiction. No copyright violation is intended. Some dialogue has been lifted from the episode.

***

As icebreakers go, the 'last snog' game wouldn't have been Jack's first choice. But it is an icebreaker, and the camping trip is as much a team building exercise as it is an investigation, so for the moment, he lets things go.

Okay, the results of the poll http://tw-classic.livejournal.com/166580.html are in.

The series one re-watch will start 9pm (UK time) Saturday 17th September, and continue with an episode per week until we finish series one.

Everything Changes - 17th September
Day One - 24th September
Ghost Machine - 1st October
Cyberwoman - 8th October
Small Worlds - 15th October
Countrycide - 22nd October
Greeks Baring Gifts - 29th October
They Keep Killing Suzie - 5th November
Random Shoes - 12th November
Out of Time - 19th November
Combat - 26th November
Captain Jack Harkness - 3rd December
End of Days - 10th December

The re-watch of series two will start in the new year, once we've got Christmas/New Year out of the way.

The re-watch is being run jointly with the Torchwood Writers Union (TWU) http://z9.invisionfree.com/twu/index.php?act=idx and there will be a 'live' reaction post, a discussion post that people can take part in at any time, writing prompt to write something related to that week's episode ie episode tags, missing scene etc. For the duration of the re-watch the weekly themed rec theme will be whichever episode is shown that week.

I will use the remaining voted on rec themes to cover the two Fridays until the re-watch starts.

Edit: The episode discussions at tw-classic will be about the episode itself and if you want how it relates to anything classic Torchwood. The discussion over at TWU will be about the episode and how it relates to all series of Torchwood.

There are plans to run a series one and two re-watch jointly here and at Torchwood Writer Union (TWU). http://z9.invisionfree.com/twu/index.php?act=idx

There would be a 'live' reaction post for the re-watch, a discussion thread that can be join in at any time, a rec post for fics relating to the re-watched episode and a prompt post for fic relating to the episode.

You can take part in as much or as little of this as you want.

On with the poll.

Comments, suggestions, pointing out things that I've left out all welcome in comments below.

It was suggested in Sunday that a series one and two re-watch would be a good idea. We could have a reaction post for the 'live' watch and a discussion post for afterwards.

So the question is when to have it. Time wise I was thinking 9pm on a Saturday (UK time) as that would be Saturday afternoon in the US and about 9am Sunday morning in Australia and New Zealand. Which would hopefully allow most people to join in if they want to.

Any suggestions on a time that would work better, and on when to start it, please comment below. Also if you'd rather I made a poll for this let me know and Ill get something sorted.

Also I was thinking it would be good to do something for the 22nd of October - the 5th Anniversary of Torchwood first airing.

I was thinking a multi genre/medium type challenge that is themed around the number 5.

So people could post 5 icons, five drabbles, a five things fic, a fan mix of 5 songs, a fic about the team discovering a long lost Torchwood five office, really anything classic Torchwood that has something that connects it to five.

Any ideas/thought about this comment below, and I'll try to get it up and running if there's enough interest.

I thought I should also give the Torchwood Writers Union http://z9.invisionfree.com/twu/index.php?act=idx a quick mention, as it's up and running again for all things Torchwood fic related.
