Another rec from the early days of the fandom, this was written back in the December of 2006 before the first series had even finished airing.
This is a Tosh gen fic set after Greeks Bearing Gifts. It’s hard to give it a genre exactly, introspection is probably the closest.
Despite the setting it’s not angst. There’s a sense of loneliness, of disconnection from the world that is as much from the lost of the telepathic pendant Mary gave her as it is from being part of Torchwood, but mostly it’s about life going on.
I will be reccing stories featuring one or more of the female Torchwood characters for the four Friday free for all rec that fall within the Women of Torchwood fest month.
As this is the Friday rec free for all please rec any fic you want as long as it falls within the scope of the comm. It would be nice to see some more recs for fics featuring one or more of the Torchwood ladies, but it’s not essential.
