This week's fic rec theme is Epic fics, anything over 40k or so.

So rec your favourite long fics here.

Because as we're a pre/ignoring the existance of Children of Earth community I'd ask people not to rec CoE and later series related fics as recs. Other than that anything goes: het, gen, slash, any pairings, any characters, crossovers, AU, pre-series, any genre at all.

The week long extension for the Summer Fest will be coming to a close in five days, (if you count today, July 8th). The last day to submit anything for the Summer Fest at torchwood_fest is July 12th.

Remember any pairing goes and we are All series friendly! Fics have to be at least 500 words and art must be the equivalent to that.

Classic Torchwood Bigbang - gauging opinions.

I know there are a couple of Torchwood big bangs running at the moment, tw_bigbang and ianto_bigbang

But I was wondering if there was any interest in having a classic Torchwood big bang?

Because of the schedules of the other bigbangs, and the logistics of getting a bigbang comm together, I'd leave sign ups for a while, maybe until the other bigbangs had started posting.

So maybe something like having sign ups starting from 22nd October (the 5th anniversary of Torchwood starting) and posting starting on 14th Feb next year. It would give people time to write, and we'd get a nice valentines gift of shiny new classic Torchwood fic.

So what do people think? Everything about it up for discussion at this stage.
